The Tunic: A Summer Staple

It may not even feel like spring yet for some of us, but I'm trying to encourage the season to arrive by trotting-out the tunics. By far my favourite item of clothing for summer, tunics are versatile, sophisticated, and universally flattering. The weather may not be allowing me to style them with the summery panache that I desire, but that doesn't mean a girl can't plan.

  4. Fantastic collection of tunics! I'm waiting to see a full body shot of that crazy Lilly-esque one (#2). Can you guess why?
Also like the concept of the black/gold one over a bling skirt. And a black moto jacket -- yep, I can visualize that one on you now!

  10. What a lovely collection of tunics! I just thought I should let you know that you are not the only one that tries to convince Miss Sping to arrive in full bloom to Scotland! I would really like to see the cherry blossoms in the Meadows before I leave and goes back to Sweden.

  11. Inspiring and instructive. They'll take you from late spring through early fall, won't they? Great styling photos, as always. Proportions seems really important to consider, but just for shorties like me. You look effortlessly elegant. No wishfullness about it. You got it!

  16. Love ALL of these tunics! Seems like we have the same love of tunics, which I certainly didn't have an appreciation for when I was younger but have fully embraced. The ones you have found are fantastic, but the Lilly one is my favorite. Color is something I seem to be embracing more too :) See you soon!
