I Got a Right to Sing The Blues

Or wear the blues, as it were. Last year, when all of those printed Prada suits were all the rage, I really lusted after one, but lets face it, if you are a person who rarely (if ever) wears suiting, are you going to make your big investment purchase a printed Prada suit with flood-length trousers? Probably not. However, when you see a pair of trousers that you have been looking at that costs £14 actually has a companion blazer on sale for £20, you think, why not? Don't you? I do.

This set if from H&M and yes, it cost £34. Not the sort of thing you will wear every single day or keep forever, but it's fun. I see myself wearing them separately a lot as well. A printed suit for £3,400? No thanks. £34? Yes please.

  2. It's cute! And the price is certainly right. It looks as though the trees have leafed out quite a bit since we were there.

  3. This suit looks great on you and I agree, seasonal trends shouldn't cost much.
Currently I am looking for a pair of white pumps but assume they won't survive until next summer. Therefore it has to be a budget purchase!

  5. Yeah, even if you don't wear them together much, I bet you could get lots of use wearing one piece with a whole different outfit for a different look! That really is a fun print!

  9. I love the treatment on the last photo. Very cool.

The blue and the orange pop is great.

The only thing that comes to mind when I see this is what Austin Powers would say... "yeah baby yeah!"

  10. I adore this suit and you make it look like it's a Prada suit! If you didn't have it altered, then it's amazing that the fit is so superb and I think I'd stick with the H&M suits after all. Perfect styling with the shoes too... which look like they would go with just about anything - adorable.
