Weather Antidote Dressing

Oh maaaaan….it's starting. The official Scottish Rainy Season (or 3/4 of the year, if you prefer to think of it that way) appears to be underway. One minute a girl is out on the tennis court wearing SPF 30, the next…well.

But never mind. It may be cold, raining horizontally (although mercifully I had a four minute window to take these quick snaps), and blown' a hoolie out there, but the entire landscape doesn't have to be gray. I like to do my part. Nowhere does it say that to be pragmatic is to be devoid of colour.

  1. Am I really lucky enough to comment first? K! You look amazing- what a great colorful but still season appropriate outfit. I love that blue and paired with the spicey orange is magical. You look fresh and Fall ready. Bring on the rainy season!

  2. Yay colour! I generally try to inject a decent dose of it into winter. No black coats for me!

I'm looking forward to getting into the lovely rich burgandy colours that are fashionable now as they suit me.

  3. We had a rainy and cool weekend and the forcast for the whole week is even worse... but usually we have very nice weather in Sep/Oct so I'll hope it will change again.

Your colours and necklaces are really great and I am hope they'll brighten up your day!

  4. Yes! Let's you and I keep the colour going through the rainy season. I didn't think anywhere had the wet that we do on the 'wetcoast' of Canada. But me thinks that your Scottish weather trumps ours. Ah well, what are we gonna do?

  8. Wow, how do you do it?? The rest of the world looks grey and gloomy and you are a complete spot of sunshine! The color combo you put together looks fabulous. I really love the burnt orange and blue... fabulous! And those necklaces look like they cost a fortune. You never cease to amaze me. And that necklace photo is fantastic - kudos to your photographer!!!

  11. This color combination has always been beautiful. People in the US tend to avoid it because of it's "HoJo" association but I think it's stunning, especially with your skin tone and hair. The whole outfit is cheerful without being clowny; well played!
